James Buckeridge

Work experience: During my 32 year career in banking, I undertook many varied roles including working in the Credit Sanctioning Team, a Relationship Manager, Customer Services Manager, Internal Audit and High Risk Customer Identification.  Since leaving I have worked for a couple of finance teams using the skills gained in the Banking Sector to introduce numerous business and financial efficiencies. 

Outside of work: I have always liked sport and joined Mid Sussex Hockey Club in 1982 but had to recently retire due to injury!  During my time I was a team captain, the club Secretary and club Treasurer.  I am honoured to have been made a Life Vice President due to the all the roles I undertook.  I am still a playing member at Cuckfield Cricket Club, having been the club captain during my formative years and most recently been a coach and manager in the colts structure.  I have had the joy of recently playing with both my sons however they now play in higher teams to me.
